About the role:

A great opportunity for a user-centric and ambitious Product Owner to join a start-up that’s on a mission to make US retail markets accessible on a global scale. We believe that citizens of all nations should have equal access to a frictionless shopping experience globally.

Due to the extraordinary variety of goods and better pricing structure in US e-commerce, global shopping in US retail markets has been popular for many years now. However, this industry is mostly used by a handful of tech savvy users, who understand how e-wallets, VPN’s and other technologies work, enabling them to buy overseas. We are building this platform, so the remaining majority is also able to gain access and shop at US e-commerce portals.

We are taking a user-centric approach while creating frictionless user experience for overseas shoppers in the US. We believe that with today’s technologies we can accomplish these tasks.

This will be a heavy hands-on role with the core responsibility of driving product backlog and launching the product within the target timelines. We are a dozen people startup with big ambitions so you should be willing to get deep into the details and wear multiple hats - product owner, product manager, UX researcher, business analyst and sometimes QA. You will be collaborating with the rest of the team in the US and Lithuania so that we can come up with the best possible technology outcome for the platform.

As Product Owner - you will:

Set success metrics and feature roadmap to align with business goals and drive the roadmap to completion
Collaborate with the tech team and stakeholders to come up with the best solutions for the product
Analyse and document business requirements, collaborate with the team to write-up specifications for development
Build, prioritise and drive product backlog to the first release and beyond it

We expect you to:

Have proven experience working in product management field
Have high digital product and technical acumen along with strong business analysis skills
Have strong experience managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
Have experienmce developing user stories and monitoring and evaluating product
Enjoy being hands-on in product research, business analysis and specification write-up
Have experience in Agile software development
Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
