About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven IT security professional who thrives on building and leading robust security frameworks. As an IT Security Consultant at Adroiti, you’ll join a dynamic, fast-growing technology company with a start-up vibe, where you’ll own security initiatives that drive trust, resilience, and compliance.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and Acting CISO for multiple client-partner organizations. You’ll work closely with client-facing teams to design and implement security policies, oversee compliance with global standards, and respond to emerging threats. Most of our client-partners are USA-based with worldwide product consumers, giving you the chance to shape impactful security solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time (20h/week) contract with a possibility to extend to full time.
Expected Outcomes:
- Serve as Acting CISO for multiple client-partner organizations, advising at both strategic and operational levels
- Lead the design and execution of policies, processes, and technologies to safeguard data, systems, and networks
- Partner with client-facing teams in strategic and hands-on delivery role, ensuring effective security instrumentation and practices
- Continuously monitor, detect, and respond to threats and incidents, driving rapid recovery and resilience
What We Expect from You:
- Solid, hands-on IT security experience, ideally within a technology consultancy or software development environment
- Proven track record creating and running IT security policies, programs, and frameworks
- Strong understanding of secure software development, encryption, firewalls, identity & access management, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing
- Ability to conduct product-specific risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend practical security measures
- Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or similar)
