“No matter how urgent the need, we never choose the faster route. It’s better to take longer and find the right person — someone who truly fits the role and the team,” says Ieva Kučinskaitė, People & Business Partner at Adroiti.

Work Maturity — The Core of Every Hire

Work maturity is something that connects everyone at Adroiti.

“Work maturity doesn’t always come from experience. It comes from a person’s values, their sense of responsibility.

To us, a mature professional is someone who knows how to plan their time, set priorities, and communicate clearly. These qualities are essential because Adroiti is a remote-first company. When you work remotely, things only run smoothly if everyone takes ownership, plans their day, and communicates openly.

That’s why we don’t believe in micro-management. We see it as a waste of time for both sides. When communication and planning are in place, there’s simply no need for it“, – says Ieva.

When asked how she recognizes maturity during interviews, Ieva explains that she always asks for real examples — situations that show how someone acted in the past.

„We might ask about how a candidate planned their work, how they handled communication in a project, or how they took initiative.
Those stories reveal how a person really thinks and behaves — and that’s what matters most to us“.

Recruitment as a Dialogue, Not a Test

At Adroiti, the hiring process usually has three or four steps:

First conversation– with Ieva or her colleague. It’s about getting to know each other, introducing the company and the project.

Technical interview– with the team or specialists from other Adroiti teams. They test technical knowledge, but it’s also a chance for the candidate to ask what it's like to work here.

Final conversation– with the lead or project manager, to explore how the person thinks, plans, and communicates.

„We’re always hiring — in six years, there hasn’t been a single day without at least one open position. AI has made some processes faster and more efficient, but the need for great specialists hasn’t gone away. What we truly value are people who take initiative, communicate well, and don’t need to be led by the hand. At Adroiti, you’ll find all the opportunities to grow — but you’re the one who has to use them“, – says Ieva.

When Trust Matters Most

Like in any company, not every hire works out perfectly. As Ieva puts it, Adroiti isn’t afraid of talking about challenges.

When someone’s motivation fades or personal changes affect their focus, the first step is always conversation. Sometimes it leads to rediscovered motivation; other times, to a new role within the company and sometimes, to saying goodbye.

“If you feel you’re not in the right place anymore, the best thing you can do is say it. At Adroiti, we’ll look for ways to help you grow or shift. Change doesn’t happen overnight — but it can always be planned.

Strong teams aren’t built overnight — they grow from shared trust. That’s why we take time to find the right people — because when the right minds and values meet, a strong team grows from there,” says Ieva.
