The Role

As an experienced iOS software developer you will join global engineering team responsible for building complete technology solutions that form the core of our "SpringRoll" Automotive-Trading service.

The role will require an obsessive focus on design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working with other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure, using an Agile infrastructure. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

This is a full time position. Occasional travel in Europe and North America may be required.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with publishing iPhone and/or iPad applications.

  • Experience with development in Swift (Objective-C), third-party libraries, frameworks, and APIs.

  • Experience with Carthage or CocoaPods.

  • Comfortable using ReactiveCocoa.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs connecting iOS apps to back-end services.

  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance and memory tuning.

  • Strong understanding of the patterns and practices on iOS platform.

  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.

  • Comfortable with Agile and daily deployments.

  • Great in written and spoken English.


  • Ability to balance individual responsibilities, give and welcome feedback, exhibit objectivity.

  • Ability to take loose requirements and vision and figure out solutions to move the initiative forward.

  • Good communication skills, collaborative, with an open, approachable style.

  • Ability to work independently, remotely across time zones.
